MEET OUR DOCTORS

Dr. Essam Khraizat

Dr Essam Khraizat loves the State of Michigan, where he has lived since the 1980’s. In that time, he received his education from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Wayne State University School of Medicine, and Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center. He has earned multiple scholarships, awards and recognitions during his journey.

As a physician and surgeon, Dr Khraizat co founded Michigan Women’s Care and Serenity Health Med Spa, both with the mission of providing excellence and compassion in care. More than a thousand patient testimonials attest to his extraordinary and compassionate care.

As a physician, Dr khraizat says that “Most importantly, I listen to what my patients say. Then, I partner with each patient to reach an evaluation and treatment plan. I encourage my patients to be motivated and to help me to help them. I keep an open mind and an understanding demeanor.”

Moreover, Dr Khraizat supports his community. He and his family fund a scholarship at the WSU School of Medicine, support the Zaman International humanitarian organization, The Starfish Services for social welfare, and Beaumont Hospital Breast Care Centers. In addition, he helps educate future doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

At home, Dr Khraizat enjoys traveling with his wife and 4 children, gardening, exercise and family time. He looks forward to many more years of collaboration with patients and clients to achieve wellness and health.

Dr. Lan Bui

Dr. Bui has called Michigan home for over 35 years. After graduating from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, she completed her medical school training at Des Moines University where she was a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Honors Society. Her leadership traits resulted in her election to multiple National level positions within in the Student Osteopathic Medical Society. She completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan and was named Resident Teacher of the Year in 2001, 2002 and 2003. She also received several awards for research during this time.

Dr. Bui has practiced in Southeast Michigan since 1998 and is a co-founder of Michigan Women’s Care: one of Michigan’s premier OB/GYN practices. During their many years of caring for women, Dr. Bui and her colleague, Dr. Khraizat, noted that a number of patients suffered from various issues related to vaginal health, aging and dermatological conditions. These realizations, combined with Dr. Bui’s personal struggle with acne and eczema prone skin, ultimately led to the formation of Serenity Health Med Spa: Canton’s newest location for patients to Rejuvenate, Relax and Revitalize!

When Dr. Bui takes off her “white coat”, she can be found enjoying Family time with her husband, three adventurous children and their attention-seeking golden retriever “Maizey”. Besides cheering on the kids at soccer games and swim meets, Dr Bui enjoys travelling, skiing volleyball, scuba diving and reading.

Dr. Rula Al-Aouar

Dr. Rula Al-Aouar has called Michigan her home for over 30 years. She graduated from the University of Michigan – Dearborn after a successful collegiate career and a College of Arts, Science and Letters education.

After Medical School at Wayne State University in Detroit, Dr. Al-Aouar started her specialization in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She chose this specialty in order to provide care and support to women at multiple stages of their lives.

She educates her patients about lifestyle choices and treatments that not only help prevent disease and maintain health, but also contribute to satisfaction with their appearance, overall wellbeing and an enjoyment of life.

Dr. Al-Aouar thrives on providing care to women of all ages – and enjoys enjoys caring for women from teenagers to seniors. She values the connections she makes with her patients – and believes that the best medical and aesthetic care results from offering the latests technologies, with close physician follow up and support.

Dr. Al-Aouar joined Michigan Women’s Care in 2018, but she and Drs. Khraizat and Bui have been close colleagues at Michigan hospitals for more than ten years. She now joins Dr. Khraizat, Dr. Bui and Dr. Bhullar in providing the latest advancements in aesthetic care to her patients at Serenity Health Med Spa in Canton, MI.

Dr. Jasreem Bhullar

Dr. Jasreem Bhullar has always had a passion for cosmetics and esthetics. As she pursued her medical degree, she worked full time for Clinique and Lancome. She was a freelance national makeup artist for Lancôme in Chicago. These opportunities enabled her to have a unique point of view of skincare from both a retail and medical point of view. Once completing her medical training with Oakwood, she decided to start training in esthetics to integrate her passion for medicine with esthetics.

Dr. Bhullar received her education from Wayne State University, Spartan Health Sciences University and Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center. She prides herself on thorough care that is coordinated with direct contact with specialists and close follow up. Dr. Bhullar has trained with AMET (American Medical Educators Training) and regularly attends courses with Empire Medical Training to further her knowledge in Esthetics Medicine since 2016. Dr. Bhullar had the amazing opportunity to train with Dr. Bui and Dr. Khraizat during residency. The relationship they established has allowed her to continue to work closely with them to help develop Serenity Health Med Spa.

Dr. Bhullar is a wife and mother of three children that keep her on her toes. She owes her workout routine to running after them between swimming classes and parks. She loves traveling with her husband to Europe, many (many, many) weekend girls trips with colleagues, friends, her sisters, cousins and any other chance she can get to jump on airplane. She comes from a family that is deeply rooted in Southeast Michigan. After living away throughout her medical school, she and her husband have decided to raise their children in Michigan.
