PRP Hair Restoration
PRP Hair Restoration – Canton, MI
PRP injections have been used in regenerative medicine for more than a decade, harnessing the body’s own natural processes to heal joints and rejuvenate skin. Now cutting-edge PRP hair restoration treatments are available in our Canton, MI Med Spa to naturally regrow hair. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is extracted from the patient’s own blood, and used to stimulate the dormant hair follicles to produce new, thicker hair growth.
There are virtually no risks, no side-effects, no drug interactions and no downtime with PRP hair restoration – because the procedure uses a serum of the patient’s own concentrated platelets to naturally regrow hair in areas of thinning and baldness.

PRP Hair Restoration for Men & Women
While hair loss is more common among men, millions of women also experience the embarrassment and frustration of thinning hair. Hair loss is often caused by a genetic condition called Androgenic Alopecia (male pattern baldness) that affects both men and women. And as many as 40% of pregnant women suffer hair loss due to a condition called Telogen Effluvium.
PRP hair loss treatments have been clinically proven to be very effective in treating thinning hair caused by both Androgenic Alopecia or Telogen Effluvium, making it an ideal hair restoration solution for many men and women. PRP Hair Restoration is safer than long term use of dangerous hair growth chemicals or medications. And PRP hair restoration is less expensive and far less painful than hair transplant surgery.

How PRP Hair Restoration Works
After a routine blood draw, the patient’s blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate out just the “Platelet Rich Plasma” (PRP). This plasma contain up to 8 times the “growth factor” found in whole blood. The PRP is then inserted into the scalp via microneedling, or via syringe, in the areas of hair loss being treated.
In order to achieve optimal hair restoration results, our physicians will typically recommend that PRP hair restoration be performed every thirty days for the three to four months. After that, patients typically schedule maintenance appointments every six months to one year, depending upon who well the new hair growth is maintained. PRP Hair Restoration patients typically begin seeing some new growth with a month of the first treatment – with more pronounced results in two to three months. The results of PRP hair loss treatments are long lasting, as long as a consistent maintenance schedule is followed.
